Vladimir Putin to sign treaties on new territories joining Russia

Vladimir Putin will take part in a ceremony at the Kremlin on Friday, September 30, to sign treaties on the accession of new territories to the Russian Federation and talk to the heads of the new regions.


Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, on Thursday, September 29, announced ceremonial events at the Kremlin on the integration of the new territories into Russia.

“Tomorrow at 3 p.m., the Kremlin will host a ceremony to sign treaties on the new territories becoming part of Russia,” RIA Novosti reported Peskov as saying.

According to him, the treaties will be signed with the Donbas republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. Peskov also noted that Vladimir Putin’s voluminous speech will take place on the same day.
