The Russian embassy in Washington has urged the US not to doubt that Moscow is determined to defend state sovereignty.
This is how the Russian diplomatic mission commented on publications in the Western media about the Pentagon’s alleged plans to respond to the hypothetical use of nuclear weapons by Moscow.
“The US Department of Defense must not doubt our determination to defend the state sovereignty, territorial integrity and people by all available means. Therefore, the risky thought experiment by US military planners could end up costing the United States dearly,” the diplomatic mission notes in its Telegram channel.
