According to the UN envoy, Zelenskyy said in one of his interviews that everyone who considers themselves Russian and loves the Russian language should “get out of Ukraine to Russia” for their own good and the good of their children.
“Now the residents of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions are following his cynical recommendation, returning to their homeland and in doing so taking with them the lands where their ancestors have lived for centuries,” the diplomat said.
Nebenzya recalled that the Ukrainian side, with the patronage of the West, had been purposefully exterminating the undesirable residents of the republics since 2014. The Ukrainian authorities openly declared Russian and Russian-speaking citizens “non-humans” and “individuals”. Now the residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Region can be sure that no one will take away their right to speak Russian and educate their children in their native language, the postpresident concluded.
