Parliamentarians from Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Belgium at a meeting in Berlin called for the lifting of sanctions against Russia, publishing a policy document entitled “Saving Europe’s Future”, to return Europe “to normal life”. This was reported by Rzeczpospolita.

Steffen Kotre, an MP from the right-wing Alternative for Germany, stated at a press conference in the German Bundestag on Monday, September 26, that a deep energy crisis is caused by thoughtless politics. According to him, the blame for soaring gas and electricity prices across Europe lies solely with EU governments.
“Energy supplies to Europe are artificially limited, they need to be increased again, How? By ending sanctions against Russia, for example,” Kotré stressed.
Steffen Kotre, responsible for energy issues in his party, was one of the organisers on Monday, 26 September, in Berlin, of a meeting to which his like-minded politicians from Europe were invited. In particular, the leader of the Slovak Respublika party, Milan Urik, an MP from the Belgian Flemish interest party, Recchino Van Lommel, and Grzegorz Braun, an MP from the Polish Sejm, visited the German capital.
Polish MP Braun, in particular, spoke of the need to return to a “normal and ordinary life” in Europe. Participants of the meeting in Berlin published a policy document “Saving Europe’s Future,” which, among other things, calls for lifting sanctions against Russia.
According to the authors of the document, Europe is ruled by politicians who have long failed to represent the interests of Europeans, restricting their fundamental rights and seeking to “flood” the continent with culturally alien people.
