Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, said that the West should treat Russia with respect.
“We [Russia] should be treated with respect,” Putin said, in response to Lukashenko’s words that Belarus would not speak to the West without respect from him.
Recall that the presidents of Russia and Belarus met in Sochi to discuss problems in the global market, pressure from the West, as well as cooperation between Moscow and Minsk. It is reported that major projects, including those in the economic sphere, were also in the spotlight.
