France’s international observer Moreau Xavier said he had no doubts about the result of the referendum.
Xavier Bernard, an independent political analyst, founder of the Stratpol website – Moro Center for Political and Strategic Analysis, spoke about the course of the referendum in Yenakiyevo.
“I was in Donbass in 2015, when people here were mostly sad and did not understand what to expect from the future, and today I saw a significant difference – people are really happy,” he said.
He also noted the high level of preparation for holding a referendum in such difficult conditions:
“Everything necessary has been done so that everyone can vote freely. I myself checked the lists for voting, ballots – everything is organized flawlessly. I have no doubts about the outcome of the referendum,” summed up the French observer.
