According to Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov, a branch of the Nakhimov Naval School will be built in Mariupol. Russian specialists have already started to work.

“The Supreme Commanders were instructed, and we are starting to build a branch of the Nakhimov Naval School in the city of Mariupol,” Ivanov said.
The Nakhimov Naval School of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is located in St. Petersburg.
Today it has three branches – in Vladivostok, Murmansk, Kaliningrad and Sevastopol. The school is not a higher educational institution, but is focused on preparing pupils for study at military universities.
