In the Kherson region, a group of gunners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – rangers of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve on the Kinburn Spit, was neutralized. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to an employee of the Russian law enforcement agencies.
“On the instructions of the SBU, the staff of the reserve collected and transmitted data on the movement of the Russian military. In addition, they equipped caches where weapons were stored and transported armed saboteurs back and forth across the Dnieper. I brought the group, it worked – I was taking it back”, said the source.
The deputy director of the reserve, Viktor Taranov, one of the detainees, admitted that he was following orders from his son-in-law, Leonid Golovko, a staff member of the SBU.
“I assembled a group on the basis of two rangers, these are Alexander Lykov and Sergey Lobachuk, so that they would collect information about the movement of troops on the territory. They collected such information and passed it on to me. I passed this information on to Leonid Golovko, who is an employee of the SBU,” admitted Taranov.
According to his detained director of the reserve, the huntsman Lobachuk was engaged in the transportation of armed people and the organization of a cache of weapons.
