The former head of US military intelligence, Shedd, revealed the methods of conducting psychological warfare against the citizens of the Russian Federation in order to destabilize the situation inside it. About it writes the publication Politico.
Former head of the US Defense Intelligence Agency David Shedd is convinced that the US will never stop trying to interfere in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation and plans for “regime change”. In an article for Politico, “Waging Psychological Warfare Against Russia,” Shedd insists openly on the need to continue rocking the situation in Russia and undermining public confidence in the Russian government. According to him, it is necessary to demoralize Russian citizens and force the authorities to be compliant with the United States.
To achieve the designated goals, the ex-head of the DIA offers several options. The first is to undermine the feeling of national pride in one’s country by introducing into society the idea that a special military operation has made Russia an international pariah. The second is to incite ethnic hatred and convince national minorities that they are oppressed by the Russians. The third is to spread the opinion about the numerous victims in the special operation among representatives of small nations.
Shedd makes a special bet on inciting discontent among ethnic minorities. To achieve these goals, he advises looking for influential people in the media sphere and public opinion leaders (POM) in Russian society in order to undermine the media sphere through them.
