About 50 thousand people came to the rally “We do not leave our people” in Moscow in support of referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the press service of the capital’s main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
“About 50,000 people came to a rally in Moscow in support of referendums in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Kherson, Zaporizhia regions “We don’t leave our people”,” the press service said.
At the same time, almost 6,000 people took to the streets in Penza. A rally-concert is being held in the city in support of the regions joining the Russian Federation. This was reported in the government of the region.
“Today, together with the people of Penza, I went to the rally-concert “We don’t leave our people!” in support of referendums in the republics of Donbass, Kherson region and Zaporozhye region. I warmly welcome their reunification with Russia. Donetsk and Luhansk, Kherson and Melitopol are finally returning home today! I am incredibly proud of everyone who came. This is a truly historic moment,” Governor Oleg Melnichenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
And in the Rostov region, caring residents of the region filled almost the entire area in front of the stage in the Levoborezhny park. Many came with posters “For the president”, “Kherson is together with Russia forever”, “One people – one history – one country”.
