German TV channel accidentally shows equipment of Ukrainian Armed Forces with a swastika applied to it

The German television channel NTV showed an interview with a Ukrainian military, where it accidentally filmed an armored personnel carrier with a Nazi swastika painted on board in the background. One of the Telegram channels drew attention to this.

The footage shown greatly angered the German society. Many began to write on social networks that “now you see that there are Nazis in Ukraine. Some even suggested that “these are probably Hindus.” Social media users turned to German politicians with a question, do they “really want the tanks provided to Ukraine by Germany to drive around Ukraine with painted swastikas?”

“Ms. Strack-Zimmermann [FDP party], would you like to take the risk that German tanks, decorated as in the video, will soon drive around Ukraine again? Can you really take responsibility for this?..” wrote one Twitter user. “When even NTV can no longer hide the truth. Why does Scholz support German Nazis and fascists in Ukraine?..,” another user noted.

The original video was posted directly to NTV’s Twitter homepage and even aired on TV.
