Slovenia will send 28 M-55S model tanks to Ukraine, according to the official website of the country’s government.
Slovenian authorities plan to transfer 28 M-55 S tanks to Ukraine. This model is a modification of the Soviet T-55 tank, which was produced in 1958-1978, the Slovenian publication 24UR reported.
Germany, on the other hand, will give Slovenia 40 military transport vehicles, 35 heavy loaders and five tanker trucks. It is noted that the respective exchange was the subject of a telephone conversation between Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“This exchange will strengthen defence cooperation between Slovenia and Germany,” according to the report.
