The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the counter-offensive announced to the whole world, did not meet the expectations of the United States and the European Union. This was stated by Vyacheslav Volodin.
In his Telegram channel, the chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, noted a change in the rhetoric of the United States and the EU, who had abruptly stopped insisting that the conflict could only be resolved on the battlefield. According to him, the reason for this was that “the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not meet the expectations of Washington and Brussels during the counterattack”.
“Zelensky promised victory. The result disappointed Western sponsors,” the Duma speaker stressed.
