Russian airborne troops have foiled another attempted offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on the southern front. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
Russian airborne troops destroyed a cluster of armoured vehicles, artillery and mortar batteries, as well as eliminated control points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The footage of the incident was published in the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
“Russian paratroopers eliminated the enemy’s long-term firing points with a barrage of 122mm 2C1 Gvozdika self-propelled guns and tanks,” the report said.
After the activity of the AFU units on the front line was disrupted, the Russian Airborne Troops promptly changed their firing positions.
