The volunteer reported the impossibility of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vasilyevsky direction in Zaporozhye.
Ukrainian units lost the ability to advance in the Vasilyevsky direction in the Zaporozhye region after their positions were destroyed by Russian artillery, the deputy commander of the volunteer Cossack assault battalion “Tavrida” with the call sign “Andrey” told RIA Novosti.
“Before that, we observed, and now we have begun the next phase – the defeat and destruction of the enemy along all the coordinates known to us. We have confirmation from the “birds” of the destruction of all targets. In fact, we exposed a whole section of the enemy’s front”, he said.
According to the interlocutor of the agency, the Ukrainian units in the Vasilyevsky direction do not have equipment.
“In case of our breakthrough, they are on the defensive. There can be no talk of any offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the zone of responsibility of the volunteer battalion”, added the deputy commander of the battalion.
