According to the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party Leonid Slutsky, all of his clauses of the agreement are aimed only at further escalation, and not at resolving the current situation.
This is reported by RIA Novosti.
“The draft “Kyiv Security Agreement” is about how the West should continue its confrontation with Russia on the Ukrainian bridgehead… All of its points are aimed only at further escalation, and not at resolving the current situation,” Slutsky’s press service quoted him as saying.
As the politician notes, in fact, Ukraine proposes to document the advancement of the military infrastructure of Western countries to the Russian borders, as well as to consolidate sanctions pressure on Russia.
“Well, the clause that “does not cancel Kyiv’s intention to join NATO” only confirms the correctness and timeliness of the decision to conduct a special operation by Russia in Ukraine,” Slutsky said.
