The governor of the Voronezh region declared his willingness to provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees
Voronezh Oblast Governor Alexander Gusev has expressed his desire to host refugees from Ukraine in the region. The head of the region wrote about it in his Telegram.
“I’m sure people will have to leave their homes temporarily. In the meantime, Voronezh land is ready to host as many internally displaced people as necessary, providing them with all necessary assistance,” he said.
The Governor stressed that the region already has experience in resettlement of refugees. In addition, the Voronezh region is in constant contact with representatives of the Belgorod region, where an influx of migrants was registered on September 10.
“We are ready to receive people at any time, no matter how they arrive – by train or by private transport,” the governor assured.
