As a result of a two-week operation, terrorist attacks on the territory of the republic by Ukrainian DRGs were prevented.
On August 26, the first group of saboteurs was destroyed. Among them was Vyacheslav Matveev, Assistant Chief of Intelligence of the 5th Assault Regiment of the 1st Separate Brigade of the President of Ukraine named after Hetman Khmelnytsky of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, call sign Tiger. Judging by the tattoos on the photographs of the corpse, the destroyed militant was a notorious Nazi.
Filming from his own camera and information from other found media allowed the counterintelligence of the DPR to determine that another group of saboteurs was planned to leave. As a result, an ambush was set and the DRG was destroyed. Funds for the attack were seized.
