The Ukrainian authorities unilaterally stopped the flow of electricity from the Zaporozhye NPP, which creates problems in the operation of the nuclear power plant.
According to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, the Kyiv authorities staged an energy blockade of the region.
“The Kyiv authorities, seeking to stop the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, are pursuing the goal of organizing an energy blockade of the region. They already used a similar barbaric practice several years ago in the Crimea, when they blew up electrical pylons”, Rogov told RIA Novosti.
Ukrainian troops continue to strike at substations and power lines, through which electricity is supplied from nuclear power plants to the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region, Rogov said.
“The UN should immediately intervene in the situation around the shelling of nuclear power plants by Ukrainian troops in order to force the Ukrainian side to stop the policy of genocide of the population,” says a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.
