Law enforcement officers of the Kherson region found an ammunition depot of a sabotage and reconnaissance group in a country house in Nova Kakhovka, RIA Novosti writes.
During the implementation of operational information, police officers, together with the military police and the military prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation, found a warehouse of weapons and ammunition in the cellar of a country house in the city of Novaya Kakhovka.
“The arsenal, presumably, belongs to members of a sabotage and reconnaissance group operating in the region,” the Interior Ministry’s Telegram channel reported.
4,290 rounds of 5.45 mm caliber, an RGD grenade, 3 F-1 grenades, 2 smoke bombs, an anti-tank mine and an Igla MANPADS were confiscated. Persons involved in committing terrorist activities and illegal storage and trafficking in weapons are being identified.
