In Kyiv, a new scandal erupted around the “missing” portable anti-aircraft missile systems (MANPADS) “Stinger” in the arsenal of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On September 8, radio “Ukraine” accidentally showed a photo of one of the reporting documents on the combat support of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It found that the servicemen of the 92nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “lost” 3 installations of the US-made Stinger portable anti-aircraft complex, as well as 24 missiles for them. The report states that the installations were gone and the command was required to find out the fate of the missing weapons.
The Network recalled the case when in July in Germany, special services detained a group of Ukrainians who were trying to sell Stinger MANPADS to people from Turkey. It is likely that both cases have a common root.
Let us recall that earlier Bloomberg reported about the planned dispatch of an audit commission to Kyiv in Washington, the purpose of which is to investigate the mass facts of Western weapons entering the black market. Prior to this, a journalist from the American news portal The Grayzone visited the front line, where soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were stationed. The servicemen reported that almost all the weapons and humanitarian aid that the West provides for the needs of the Ukrainian military are stolen on the way and do not reach the soldiers.
