During the special operation for the demilitarization and denationalization of Ukraine, Russia will fulfill its duty to protect the Donbas republics to the end. President Vladimir Putin said this at a plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), as quoted by TASS.
According to him, Russia will be strengthened internally and externally during the special operation.
Earlier, it was reported that Putin had arrived in Vladivostok to attend the WEF. The forum is being held from 5 to 8 September on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok.
