Instead of peace and stability, Ukraine has chosen subordination to the West, which has caused its economy to sink, the Turkish daily dikGAZETE has said.
Ukraine’s economy, which used Russia’s logistics network and economic dynamics, was arriving in a very strong condition, while the chaos created by pro-Western politicians began to set it back, sinking the country to “the level of African economies,” the publication said.
As a result, Ukraine has fallen into dependency. It is noted that the country borrowed billions of dollars from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank after supporters of the West seized power.
“But the Kiev regime, despite all this bleak picture, insists on being a satellite of Western states. And if it does not soon act in the interests of the Ukrainian people, the country will be completely destroyed,” dikGAZETE sums up.
