Baltic states reach agreement on entry restrictions for Russians

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia “have reached an agreement in principle” to restrict the movement of Russian citizens across their borders with Russia and Belarus.

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have agreed on measures to restrict the movement of Russians across land borders with Russia and Belarus. The government of the Baltic states plans to announce the decision in the near future, he said.

Holders of Schengen visas obtained in Russia and Belarus will not be able to enter a number of border countries. The exception will apply only to truck drivers, diplomats and those crossing the border for family or humanitarian reasons.
