This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko in an interview with RIA Novosti at the WEF.

As Chernyshenko noted, now 11 countries accept Mir cards, and Russian tourists can withdraw money or pay for services at ATMs, including such popular destinations as Turkey, Vietnam, South Korea, and our closest neighbors – Armenia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

“In addition, we are now working with a number of other countries, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, and China,” he added.
