Gazprom and CNPC have signed agreements to switch payments for gas supplies to China into rubles and yuan, the Russian company said. They also discussed the development of the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipelines in Russia and Soyuz Vostok in Mongolia.
“The new payment mechanism is a mutually beneficial, timely, reliable and practical solution,” said CEO Miller.
