IAEA mission at Zaporozhye NPP to end on September 6

The mission of the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye NPP (ZNPP) will last until September 6, its subsequent plans are unknown. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the new military-civilian administration of the region.

“The delegation is still working on September 5, after which its mission ends, and they leave on September 6. They have been given all kinds of assistance. We are interested in an objective and balanced assessment of the situation at the nuclear power plant,” Rogov said.

He added that the regional authorities do not yet have a clear understanding of whether IAEA observers will remain at the nuclear power plant on a permanent basis. Now, according to him, a delegation of 13 people is at the nuclear power plant.
