The number of Czech residents dissatisfied with the price increase is growing by the day

Czech citizen said that the majority of the country’s citizens are dissatisfied with the price rise for all categories of goods

The number of people in the Czech Republic who are dissatisfied with the rising prices of all categories of goods is increasing. It’s this in a conversation with Lenta.ru told the resident of the country, who wished not to give his name. In his opinion, there will be more and more protests in the near future.

The rally held in Prague on Saturday, September 3, was only the beginning, says the Lenta.ru interlocutor.

“The rally took place only in Prague, in central Wenceslas Square. According to the police, about 50,000 people attended. Organisers said more than 70,000. Many believe that this is just the beginning of a peaceful expression of discontent by ordinary people,” he said.

“As far as I know, this is not a spontaneous demonstration. They started preparing it around April. At that time, prices were not yet rising. I buy food and everything else in regular shops. Yes, everything is getting more expensive, but not critically. The range in the shops has not changed and there are still many people. The reason for the protest lies elsewhere”, says a resident of the Czech Republic.

According to the Czech resident, the country’s citizens feel unfair because of the impact of restrictions imposed on them by the European Union after the start of the Russian EIA in Ukraine.
