Professor Patzelt has predicted mass protests in Germany in the coming autumn.
Everyone in Germany will face inflation and energy shortages by this autumn which could lead to mass protests, Welt TV has warned, citing political science professor Werner Patzelt of Dresden University.
“The newspaper quotes Welt as saying: “Citizens are beginning to realize that the government is promising more than it actually can deliver.”
In this regard, Patzelt, predicts a wave of protests to come. He pointed out that there are three factors that will affect the outcome of confrontation between the protesters and the authorities. The first is the inflation rate. The second is the willingness of citizens to force the government to take measures to improve their situation, and the third is the policy of media coverage of the protests.
