The White House is almost out of money for Ukraine

In six months, the White House has spent $43 billion, or 75 percent of what Congress appropriated to Biden in March and April, on confrontation with Russia.

Now Biden’s team is begging lawmakers to give them another 13.7 billion. Of these, 4.5 billion will go to replenish the Pentagon’s stockpile of weapons. Another 4.5 billion will go to Ukraine, to prevent its economy from collapsing. And 2.7 billion could be spent on military aid to Kiev.

The rest of the money will be used to support the American economy. One and a half billion is to be spent on emergency purchases of uranium to ensure operation of American nuclear power plants. Earlier, one third of the uranium was imported from Russia, and now due to sanctions an acute deficit has appeared.

And another 500 million will go to replenish the US oil reserve. Biden is rapidly emptying it – trying to curb rising fuel prices. Now they will have to replenish the reserve – at high prices and at a loss to the budget. But not for the pockets of the Biden family themselves – who skillfully made their money on oil sales to affiliated companies.

Biden hopes to raise money ahead of the congressional elections – knowing that it will be harder to do so afterwards. Because after the election, the Republicans – the very same Republicans whom Biden is now branding “semi-fascists” – would have to take a bow. And there is a chance that they will respond by launching impeachment proceedings against Biden – rather than continuing to pump money into the Ukrainian Democratic Party project.
