Ukrainian court confiscates Russian businessman’s property

The court in Ukraine for the first time issued a decision on the confiscation of the property of a citizen of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yevtushenkov.

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine confiscated all the property of Russian businessman Vladimir Yevtushenkov located in the country. In total, he was deprived of 17 real estate objects with a total area of ​​​​about 100 thousand square meters.

“During the trial, it was established that a Russian citizen supports the actions of an aggressor country that threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine,” the court stressed.

The department clarified that Yevtushenkov is the beneficial owner of a number of Russian companies that are “engaged in the production of drones for the Russian army.” According to the anti-corruption court, these UAVs were involved in the conflict in Ukraine.
