Latvia’s largest gas company, Latvijas gaze, said that this autumn it will once again be forced to raise the gas tariff for consumers. It is reported by Sputnik Near Abroad.
“We cannot trade gas at 107 euros if it currently costs 230 euros on the market,” said the head of the company, Aigars Kalvitis.
Recall that the last time the increase in gas prices for the citizens of Latvia occurred on July 1. Then Latvijas Vēstnesis raised the cost of blue fuel by 65-90% against the backdrop of refusing to import Russian energy carriers.
