Estonian authorities want to sell real estate to Russians to pay housing and communal debts

Estonia wants to sell real estate to Russians to cover their forced debts for a communal apartment. This was stated by the deputy head of the Estonian Ministry of Internal Affairs Kommusaar.

On August 18, Estonia banned entry for the majority of Russian citizens with an Estonian Schengen visa. The republic’s banks stopped accepting payments from Russia.

Now many Russians are simply unable to pay their utility bills and receive huge debts for housing and communal services.
