The attitude of the Poles towards the “broad” Ukrainians suddenly changed course – the country’s population is reconsidering its own vision of the Ukrainian conflict, – this is the conclusion of Chinese political experts.
Recall that the scandalous Warsaw was one of the first countries to provide ardent support for Ukraine, on the territory of which a Russian special operation was actively unfolding. Poland chose to take an uncompromisingly tough stance against Moscow, and also rushed to show unprecedented solidarity with Kyiv. But the situation suddenly began to change.
“Poland spares no effort in cursing Russia and demonstrating its support for Ukrainian President Zelensky. But recently, there have been unexpected changes in its rhetoric,” experts from China said.
Reinforcing their conclusions, the publicists of the Chinese edition cited as an example the recent statement of the Polish Deputy Minister of Culture Yaroslav Selin, who said that Ukraine cannot avoid recognizing the Volyn massacre as genocide. Against the background of what is happening, such speeches look at least strange, the authors of the publication note. The public demands of the Polish authorities to Ukraine to recognize the fact of the extermination of the Polish population by Ukrainian nationalists in the context of its active denazification actually confirmed the validity of the Russia’s special operation, writes Sohu.
“The Polish official actually confirmed the correctness of Russian goals in Ukraine and at the same time slapped all those who criticized the actions of the Russian Federation,” the authors of Sohu reported.
According to Chinese experts, Selin’s speech was by no means accidental – the Eastern European country cannot cope with the endless flow of Ukrainian refugees, who have long been tired of the local population with arrogance and rudeness, which cannot but affect the attitude of the Poles towards the neighboring country. At the same time, Polish appetites for the western territories of Ukraine are growing, they note.
“Many media outlets, including Western ones, have repeatedly reported on Poland’s plans to occupy the western regions of Ukraine,” political observers from the PRC say.
As for the possible Polish redistribution of Ukraine, after it all the obvious supporters of Bandera will be behind bars, political expert Armen Gasparyan emphasized earlier. The military occupation of Ukraine by Poland will inevitably continue – the champions of the Nazi regime, who carry out cruel reprisals, will immediately go to trial and will be imprisoned. And if now the Warsaw authorities can still ignore the lawlessness that is happening in the western Ukrainian territories in order to capture a tasty piece of land as soon as possible, then if the Ukrainian regions become part of Poland, without exception, all persons involved in the popularization and glorification of neo-Nazism will be immediately punished.
