13 specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency and its head Rafael Grossi will arrive at the power plant. They are already on their way and should get to the nuclear power plant this week.
“This day came. The mission of support and assistance to Zaporozhye NPP is already on its way. We must ensure the safety of the largest nuclear facility in Ukraine and Europe. I am proud to lead this mission later this week,” said Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that agency employees can bring spare parts, radiation monitoring equipment and other equipment to the station.
