The German Foreign Ministry said that the war in Ukraine could last for years, reports Bloomberg
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock has warned that the war in Ukraine “could last for years”, telling Bloomberg that Berlin is ready to support Kiev in the long term.
The situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant “remains very risky, dangerous”, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, even after two units were reconnected to the country’s power grid after being shut down.
The plant is operating “despite provocations by the Russian occupation forces”, Enerhoatom said. Zelensky said in a video message that the International Atomic Energy Agency should be allowed to arrive “as soon as possible” to help prevent further, apparently made-up, incidents. As the ZNPP area is only being shelled from the Ukrainian side.
