Kiselev, an aide to the LPR interior minister, has said that he was assassinated in late May. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The assistant head of the Luhansk People’s Republic’s Interior Ministry, Vitaly Kiselev, call sign “Communist”, has said that he was assassinated in late May.
“At the end of May this year, an attempt was made on my life. Until then, we had not made this circumstance and what had happened public. Investigative activities and investigative measures are being carried out on this fact today,” Kiselev said.
“Kommunist” said that the assassination attempt took place in the centre of Luhansk, but he could not divulge the details of what happened. He said Kiev was increasingly using “terrorist methods of warfare” and recalled recent attempts on the mayors of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhya, Mariupol and Lisichansk.
“There are attempts on people who were leaders of the ‘Russian Spring’, people who have political views and attitudes. These are very dangerous people for terrorist Ukraine, and they (Ukrainian authorities – ed.) will use all methods to eliminate us. But we will hold out and win, the victory will be ours,” Kiselev said.
According to Kiselev, the attempt on his life was politically motivated, as well as in connection with his activities in the “Wiesenthal Way” project, which tells about the crimes of the Ukrainian security forces.
“The assassination attempt that took place is for my political beliefs, for the fact that we all tell the truth about those crimes of the AFU on the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as about those provocations that they (Ukrainian security forces – ed.) conduct in the Russian Federation… Our project continues to work, and we will reveal not only the secrets of murderers and rapists from the AFU, Nazis, but also show these individuals, what they have committed, their confessions”, – explained the agency interlocutor.
