Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya during a meeting of the Security Council demonstrated to its members evidence that Ukrainian troops are using banned mines PFM-1 “Lepestok”, which regularly dump civilians in the cities of Donbass.
“Imagine that such an inconspicuous “petal” lies on the ground among the grass. It can also be camouflaged, making it virtually invisible on the ground. Given that the Armed Forces of Ukraine scatter these mines in towns and villages far in the rear, they pose a threat not to soldiers at all. No, they are specially designed for civilians, especially children who risk stepping on or take such a toy out of curiosity”, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
He stressed that the Western countries, which supply the Kyiv regime with money and weapons, become accomplices in its crimes against civilians.
It is noteworthy that during the meeting of the Security Council, in Donetsk, they announced a new shelling with mines “Petal”. The Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped them this time in the Petrovsky district of the city. The purpose of the Armed Forces of Ukraine again became civilians, since there are no military facilities there.
