Eyewitnesses report that Kharkiv residents are being interrogated and searched by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine. Cars, documents and cell phones are checked. It is noteworthy that they are interested in the presence of possible relatives or acquaintances in Russia, asking if citizens maintain contact with them. In smartphones, Ukrainian security officials are mainly interested in correspondence and contacts.

The publication writes that due to checks of road transport on the main highways in the city, long traffic jams are formed, in which you can stand for about half an hour. Moreover, foot patrols bypass residential areas and check the townspeople in the yards.
