The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic has called on all international humanitarian missions accredited in the republic to return and start operating in accordance with their mandates, the diplomatic office said.
“We call on all international missions accredited in the territory of the republic to return to the DPR in the near future and start carrying out tasks in accordance with their mandates. First and foremost, we are talking about compliance with the provisions of humanitarian law and providing assistance to the population in need,” the diplomatic office said in a message posted on its Telegram channel.
The Foreign Ministry said that the staff of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and other UN agencies “left the territory of Donbas during massive shelling of the republic by Ukraine and have not returned yet”.
