Head of the Serbian Interior Ministry Alexander Vulin said that Serbia is not going to become part of the anti-Russian hysteria, TASS reports.
He stressed that Belgrade’s rejection of sanctions against Russia is a “key position”.
“Serbia supports the position that it will definitely not become part of the anti-Russian hysteria. We are the only country in Europe that did not want to impose sanctions against Russia. And this is our key position <…> Serbia, as long as it is led by President [Aleksandar] Vucic, will never be part of the anti-Russian hysteria,” Vulin explained.
The Serbian interior minister also added that Russia deserved more respect from many other countries, but that they “forget everything. Serbia is grateful to the Russian side, including for its support and assistance on the Kosovo issue.
