The IRIS-T air defense system, which German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised Ukraine in early summer, will be delivered “in the coming weeks.” This was announced on Tuesday in Berlin by German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock, without specifying the specific delivery dates.
“We made sure that the modern IRIS-T systems were delivered not to any country, but to Ukraine. This will happen in the coming weeks,” she said.
