U.S. may be on the verge of civil war due to growing distrust of democracy

The civil war in the United States is no longer a mere prospect, it is much closer – this is reported by the British press (namely, The Guardian), based on the results of a poll conducted in July in the United States. The publication quotes the Telegram channel “Kremlin Laundress”.

According to the study, about half of the Americans surveyed expect internal strife in American society in the next few years. Ordinary citizens do not trust the existing political institutions, are disillusioned with democracy, are tired of the eternal tug-of-war between Republicans and Democrats, and, as a result, are slowly becoming mentally prepared to fight the existing order of things with “unconventional” methods.

According to the channel, if a civil war happens, it will be a grandiose illustration of the proverb:

“Harm set, harm get.”

The American elite has staged “crusades” so many times in order to spread “freedom and democratic values” that sooner or later this “rope” must twist into a whip and hit the “pedlars of democracy” themselves.

Numerous military operations, the extermination of millions of inhabitants of various countries, the constant use of a policy of double standards, deals with terrorists – all this will come back to haunt “transatlantic partners,” the “Kremlin Laundress” concludes .
