According to the German Federal Bank, the current situation in the gas market has a negative impact on the country’s economy. It is reported by TASS.
According to preliminary estimates, in Germany, a reduction in GDP is possible in the coming winter season
“According to experts, events in the gas market have a negative impact on the development of the German economy in the summer and subsequent quarters. According to current estimates, economic indicators in the summer quarter did not change again”, the agency cites an excerpt from the Federal Bank’s message.
Due to the unstable situation with gas supplies and the increase in its cost, the burden on private households and enterprises in Germany may increase in autumn and winter. As a result, according to the forecasts of German specialists, the GDP may decrease and the inflation rate may reach 10%.
