Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the State Administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that Kyiv is shelling the region as revenge, as they realize the inevitable loss of the entire Zaporozhye region.
“The constant shelling of cities and towns by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is dictated by their revenge, anger and impotence from the fact that the Zaporozhye region will never return to Ukraine. The Zelensky regime is aware of the inevitable loss of the Zaporozhye region, and therefore is trying to harm the residents as much as possible, intimidate and force them to leave the region, including blackmailing them with strikes on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. However, no threats or ultimatums from the Kyiv authorities will force the inhabitants of the Zaporozhye region to turn off the path of reunification of the region with Russia,” Rogov told RIA Novosti.
