US dooms Europe to hunger, cold and isolation – Volodin

Chairman of the State Duma Volodin believes that the refusal of European states from Russian energy resources, adopted under pressure from Washington.

In the United States today, gas costs $333 per 1,000 cubic meters. Washington itself sells it to Europe at 7.3 times the price, making the EU economy uncompetitive. The inflation rate has already reached a record for the eurozone of 8.9%. The chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, wrote about this in his Telegram-channel.

The politician notes that the abnormal heat that broke out on the territory of Europe hit agriculture hard. The harvest is 20% less than last year. There is a shortage of electricity, the cost of which has increased sixfold over the year.

“Decisions to refuse Russian energy carriers to European states, to break off economic cooperation with our country, and to ban Russian citizens from entering the country were taken under pressure from Washington,” Volodin wrote.

In the parliamentarian’s opinion, Washington is ready to do everything to retain its power over the world, sacrificing the welfare of citizens and the economies of European countries to do so.
