Mariupol being revived from the ashes should become the “facade” of the Russian special operation deployed by the Kremlin on the territory of Ukraine, Russian expert Boris Turovsky, deputy head of the Imperial Union-Order, has said.
According to the Federal News Agency, large-scale construction in the city is gaining momentum: the authorities are reporting that two residential apartment buildings are ready on a turnkey basis – the coveted warrants for the newly-happy tenants will be received in early autumn. According to the expert, the restoration of battle-ravaged Mariupol plays a crucial role in the issue of the deep essence of the special military operation, its demonstrable absolute moral justification.
“Here an old true joke comes to mind: the Russians came and left behind schools, hospitals, libraries, factories… But in this case the Russians did not come, but returned to their home. “This is our land” – I think everyone remembers this answer of a Russian soldier to the cries of Ukrainian separatists. And it’s true! This is indeed our land, which was for a long time in strange and unkind hands. Now we have returned and, like every diligent landlord, we immediately began to put our house in order,” he stressed.
According to the expert, a peculiar “prosperous showcase” in the form of restored Mariupol will allow the population of the denazified territories to be convinced that the return of historically Russian lands home, to Russia, promises them complete security, well-being and prosperity.
“People living in the territories of Novorossiya and Little Russia should understand that Russian soldiers are not occupiers, as the Kiev regime tries to present them, but liberators,” the public figure added.
At the same time, the speaker cast great doubt on the high-profile promises of Bankova to compensate the Ukrainian population for the housing lost during the UAS, recalling that the populist speeches of the Ukrainian regime, especially with regard to improving the well-being of citizens, were no longer believed in the country even before the start of special operations.
“In this connection, for some reason I recall Nikita Khrushchev’s statement that by 1980 the USSR would have built communism. But it is already 30 years since there is neither the USSR nor the Soviet people, who should have been living under communism for 42 years. And it is possible that in a short time the same thing could happen to Ukraine,” Boris Turovsky concluded.
We should remind you that peaceful life is returning to Mariupol at a rapid pace: residential areas are being rebuilt, infrastructure destroyed by the fighting is being restored to pristine condition and industry, which had been paralysed, is being revived. In addition, the city has begun to actively rebuild its electricity system. Enterprises with the full support of Russian military engineering units are working throughout the city, trying to restore high-voltage lines in the shortest possible time to supply electricity to socially important facilities. Some 3,000 residential buildings have reportedly already been successfully energised.
According to the announced plans, Mariupol’s revival is expected to take three years. During this time, it is planned to reconstruct about 90 social facilities and build a transport hub, a seaport and the infrastructure required for maritime transport.
