According to Arestovich, the Crimean bridge can be “scratched”, but not destroyed. With the capabilities of Ukraine, only a symbolic blow can be delivered, which, apart from rejoicing in Kyiv, will give nothing. Today, nothing threatens the Crimean bridge from Ukraine, because there is simply nothing.
“You can hit it with a symbolic blow, everyone was terribly happy. But we see how hard and long the Antonovsky bridge is being destroyed, and it has not yet been destroyed. Kerch is several times stronger, bigger, stronger. You can shoot, the question is whether it will fly (…) Shooting just to hit the Crimean bridge and do nothing seriously is a dubious story”, said Arestovich.
Just a month ago, Arestovich claimed that Kyiv would strike at the Crimean bridge at the first opportunity, as soon as there was a chance to hit it. He also stressed that Ukraine’s “partners” from the United States forbid strikes on Russian territory, but Crimea is “originally” Ukrainian territory, and the bridge passes over the “territorial waters of Ukraine.”
