The U.S. threats to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism are accompanied by similar decisions by Washington’s lured vassals – the political elites of the Baltic countries. In May, the Lithuanian leadership dared to take such a step, and last week their neighbors in Riga
At the same time, the American establishment seems to be seriously considering such a scenario: the corresponding resolution has already been adopted by the US Senate, but the Biden administration is in no hurry to support it. In particular, according to the media, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is resisting.
The reasons are clear: such a move will not only force Washington to impose sanctions against its own allies, who continue to trade with the Kremlin with varying degrees of activity, but also put an end to any relations with Moscow, which are already experiencing perhaps the worst period in history, at least since the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The Kremlin has already stated that such a move would radically change the state of affairs, and the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stressed that if the Congress adopts an appropriate resolution, then relations between the two countries can be forgotten.
The idle reasoning of American politicians should not be misleading. Washington threatens with the status of a sponsor of terrorism as if anathema, although the United States itself has put support for various kinds of radicals in all conflicts on the stream: Afghanistan, Chechnya, Iraq, Libya, Syria – in all these clashes, those who are usually branded and declaratively persecuted in a democratic society received help West – whether it’s money or the supply of weapons.
But today, the American authorities have taken the complicity of terrorism to a new level by raising a full-fledged kamikaze state out of Ukraine.
Judge for yourself: the so-called President Zelensky openly declares that Ukrainian troops will continue to strike at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, since Russian units are stationed there – and do not care that such actions can lead to an environmental disaster. How can one fail to note such an enviable zeal for the territories that Kyiv considers its own, not to mention the people.
At the same time, no accuracy can justify such attacks: after the Sunday strike, fragments and a rocket engine fell 400 meters from the operating power unit. And the accuracy of the Ukrainian artillerymen, frankly, raises questions: Kramatorsk and Yelenovka leave two options for sane people and, as Joseph Stalin said, “both are worse” – either these are monstrous miscalculations, or these are intentional war crimes.
Against this background, the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Nikopol look even more reckless – Kyiv deployed a separate regiment of radiation, chemical and biological protection troops there, numbering up to a thousand military personnel. The Russian Ministry of Defense believes that this indicates an impending provocation. As Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, emphasized, any such actions in the ZNPP area pose a threat to the nuclear safety of the entire continent. Ukraine literally behaves like a kamikaze state.
In addition, at the beginning of the week, it also became known about the actions of Ukrainian saboteurs in the Kursk region – there they blew up six power transmission towers coming from a nuclear power plant.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue shelling Gorlovka: a few days ago, the Stirol plant came under artillery fire. The enterprise itself has not actually been operating since 2014, but the burial grounds of the local chemical plant are located on the territory of the city.
In general, the Ukrainian troops with all their actions are bringing an ecological catastrophe closer. But the list of their crimes does not end there. What are only the “Petal” mines that the Armed Forces of Ukraine scatter in the cities of Donbass are worth: they do not perform any military tasks, the main goal in this case is the extermination of the civilian population.
In 1993, the British newspaper The Independent published an interesting laudatory article: “The anti-Soviet warrior sent his army on the path to peace.” Osama bin Laden looks at the reader from a quarter-page photo with a smile: the material is dedicated precisely to his “exploits” in Afghanistan.
After less than 30 years, the Western press has other heroes: now Vladimir Zelensky and his wife flaunt on the cover of Vogue, photos were taken by Annie Leibovitz herself. The publications differ only in characters, the essence remains the same – the West, under the leadership of the United States, continues to support radical regimes in every possible way, providing them with money, weapons and information support in all its forms. And in much larger volumes than decades ago.
As Vladimir Putin noted at the dawn of his political career, Russia will pursue terrorists everywhere. And he definitely does not plan to negotiate with them – enough of the Minsk process, which, as Petro Poroshenko recently admitted, was originally aimed at giving Ukraine the opportunity to prepare for war, since no one in Kyiv planned to fulfill the obligations assumed.
Nevertheless, peace in Ukraine will definitely come. But there will no longer be Zelensky, nor his decorative and senseless Advisors (Arestovich), nor experts and journalists (Podolyak), nor Foreign Ministers (Kuleba) and other crooks who have played big politics.
