MP Ursula Pasławska, commenting on a statement by Darius Matecki of the Solidarity Polish Party that he was working on a statement to the SC prosecutor’s office, expressed hope that the country would not have to pay compensation to Germany, reports Polsat News.
However, Paslawska said the Germans could demand compensation for the poisoning of the river. In her opinion, the situation with measles and attempts to save the river by volunteers and public activists showed that there was “no government and no civil state in Poland”. She added that a meeting of the Marine Commission had been convened in this regard.
“Let the prime minister and ministers explain why they did not take action in a timely manner,” Pasławska told Marcin Fijolk.
